CWVA is putting a real focus on health and wellbeing, encouraging members and their staff and volunteers to take some time to look after themselves.
As part of this focus, Wellbeing Matters has been launched and training sessions on health and wellbeing will be running until 2022, building on the work done during Wellbeing March in 2021.
All Wellbeing Matters sessions are advertised on our Eventbrite page so you can easily book your place on any of them and receive the necessary details for attending.
Mental health is also one of the key themes of our volunteering campaign during 2021, highlighting some of the opportunities available in this area and the real difference existing volunteers are making across west Cheshire.
While we don’t offer mental health and wellbeing support directly at CWVA, many of our members do and we’re in an ideal position to signpost anyone who needs support.
The Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP) NHS Foundation Trust has a mental health helpline for residents in Cheshire and Wirral. This is open 24-hours-a-day, seven-days a week to people of all ages, including children and young people, who need urgent mental health support. Call: 0800 145 6485.
