Cheshire West Voluntary Action (CWVA) has a brand-new volunteering platform, providing plenty of benefits for both volunteers and any organisations offering volunteering opportunities.
Both volunteers and organisations offering opportunities can create their own accounts on the platform and use the range of new features to their advantage. Volunteers can search for opportunities by location, category, organisation and other fields to find a role perfect for them, while organisations can manage the process of recruiting volunteers from start to finish and run off useful reports.
The platform is a key part of CWVA’s volunteering campaign, which aims to encourage more people in Cheshire West and Chester to take up volunteering by highlighting the many benefits it can bring, such as developing new skills, improving health and wellbeing and making you more employable to name just a few.
CWVA and partners have developed some resources to help members with the volunteering platform.
If you need any additional support with the new volunteer platform, please email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are a volunteer-involving organisation, there’s lots of support available on our Volunteer Managers page.
CWVA’s old volunteering platform has now been taken down and all data held on it has been deleted in line with General Data Protection Regulation (GPDR) laws. If you had an account on the old platform, you’ll need to register again on the new one so you can make the most of this useful free resource.
