NCVO WEBINAR: UK CIVIL SOCIETY ALMANAC 2020: WHAT THE LATEST DATA TELLS US ABOUT CHARITIES’ CHALLENGES NOW AND IN THE FUTURE
There is no doubt that covid-19 is having a major impact on the voluntary and community sector. Despite having some data available on the immediate impact of the pandemic, there is little long-term evidence on what this will mean for charities. Making use of time series data from the UK Civil Society Almanac (sponsored by Sarasin and Partners), this free webinar will give you an overview of the state of the charity sector and what those trends mean in the current context.
Date: 9 July 2020
The webinar will be presented by Lisa Hornung, data and research manager leading on the Almanac, and Elizabeth Chamberlain, head of policy and public services at NCVO. It will be followed by a 15-minute Q&A session.
We will be talking about the latest data available on the size and scope of the charity sector, its finances, workforce and volunteering. We will explore the potential impact of covid-19 on each of those themes and give pointers to what organisations should be thinking about when planning for the future.
