Cheshire West Voluntary Action (CWVA) will be focusing on wellbeing during March, encouraging members and the wider community in Cheshire West and Chester to think about ways you can look after yourself during these challenging times.
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought many hurdles for everyone and looking after your own wellbeing has never been more important.
During Wellbeing March, regular online sessions will be taking place, highlighting the range of wellbeing support offered by CWVA’s members that staff and volunteers from other charities and community groups can take advantage of.
A PDF document listing all the events has also been put together for you to share with your networks.
The community sector has been at the forefront of the response to the COVID-19 pandemic in Cheshire West and Chester, with charities and community groups adapting their services to continue supporting those who depend on them.
Without the work of the community sector, many people would have become isolated and lost contact with people they would have normally seen on a regular basis.
John Buchanan, Training and Development Officer at CWVA, has been leading the plans for Wellbeing March.
He said: “Wellbeing has become such a prominent topic in recent years and the COVID-19 pandemic has only reinforced how important it is we all look after ourselves.
“Wellbeing March aims to bring together all the wellbeing support available across Cheshire West and Chester, providing an opportunity for our members to take a break and access some support.
“Our members have been doing so much fantastic work in this area so it’s another great opportunity for us to shout about all the work the sector is doing.”
Branding has been developed for Wellbeing March and partners are more than welcome to use this across their own communication channels.
