Wellbeing March: Monday 1 March

Join CWVA for Wellbeing March as we encourage everyone to look after their own health and wellbeing during these challenging times.

During Wellbeing March, regular online sessions are being delivered by CWVA members looking at the many ways we can all maintain positive health and wellbeing. This is a great opportunity for us to showcase all the fantastic work the community sector is doing in this area.

10am-11am Connect Coffee Morning with Chapter. Make yourself a hot drink and join our virtual Volunteer Coffee Mornings. Hosted every Monday 10am to 11am in March (1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th March). An opportunity to virtually connect with others, have an informal chat, talk about hopes and worries. These are open to all volunteers past and present, not only Chapter volunteers. 11am – 12 noon Healthbox: The Bubble
In the bubble: Come and have a virtual coffee and speak with your social prescribers. They can help signpost you to local services or sign you up to the social prescribing service for more long-term support.

1pm-2pm Healthbox: Mindfulness – Harness your Superpower
Mindfulness is a great technique to help with stress and anxiety, helping us to centre ourselves and take notice of our thoughts. Led by our qualified counsellors, this 4 week workshop is an introduction to mindfulness and how to practice it.

2pm-3pm The End of Life Partnership
An understanding of loss, bereavement, grief, and mourning.
Tips on how to help, even if contact is indirect e.g., telephone support.
